BACKTRACK Components:
Databases
BACKTRACK includes the following five databases for the developer to customize to meet specific tracking requirements.
- User Database: Used to create and edit information about the authorized users of BACKTRACK.
- Location Database: Used to create and edit information on the locations in which an item can be stored.
Item Database: Contains the items that are being tracked.
- Relationship Database: Allows you to link items to a location or to another item.
- Transaction Database: Keeps track of item activity (including history and reservations).
Label Designer
BACKTRACK's Label Designer module includes advanced bar code labeling capabilities for printing to any of over 600 thermal and laser printer drivers, as well as standard Windows printers.
Flexible Report Designer
BACKTRACK's Report Designer module provides unlimited reporting capabilities – you can create, edit and print professional reports using selected criteria and flexible setup options. The Report Wizard simplifies the process by helping you through each step of report generation, and the new Advanced Report Designer is available if you would like to add advanced report settings.
Transaction Module
BACKTRACK users will spend the majority of their time in the Transaction module, tracking and observing their item or inventory tracking applications. Transactions include checking items in or out, restocking or taking items from inventory, moving items to an unlimited number of locations, and reserving items for future use.
Application Templates
An application pulls together a combination of database structures, labels and reports into one system. You can choose one of the pre-defined templates included with BACKTRACK or design your own application using the Application Wizard.
PDT Support
Even remote tracking is easy with BACKTRACK. Using a BACKTRACK supported PDT, users can perform check in/out, take out, restock, and move functions – wherever they are.
